Volusia Sheriff's Office Citizens Academy

The 2023 VSO Citizens Academy is an 11-week program that runs from Aug. 15 to Sept. 19, 2023.

Participants will meet Sheriff Chitwood and sworn and civilian members of the Sheriff's Office for a series of discussions, demonstrations and tours.

Classes take place Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
