D-1 and V-1 share two children in common and reside together as a family. V-1 and D-1 got into a verbal argument that turned physical when D-1 began hitting V-1 and pulling his shirt.

V-1 sustained minor injuries as a result. Probable cause was established and D-1 was placed under arrest.

R1 reported he is the property manager for the above location. According to R1, he arrived at the property and noticed the locks were changed and it appeared somebody was living in the house.

Contact was made with V1, who advised she responded to a Facebook ad from IHS properties and paid an unknown female suspect money up front. In return, she received a rental contract for the house.

According to V1, she has only been living at the house for several days. Case status: Active.

The RP advised he was walking the trail at Gemini Springs Park and observed a white male slumped over onto a picnic table.  RP advised the male was unresponsive and not moving.

Deputies arrived on scene and observed the white male to be deceased with a gunshot wound to the head. Deputies observed a firearm on V1's lap. Preliminary indications are that this was a suicide.

CID and Crime Scene were notified and responded to the scene. The victim’s wife was notified. Case status: active.

V1 and V2 were away between 04/16/2024 and 04/23/2024. The victims returned home and noticed their bedroom was in disarray. There were no signs of forced entry.

The victims noticed several pieces of jewelry were missing, along with multiple checkbooks.

The victims checked their bank account and observed two pending transactions.

 The victims informed their daughter of the incident; she discovered the stolen checkbooks in her juvenile son's bedroom and a stolen piece of jewelry. Those items were retrieved and submitted to Evidence for processing.

S1 was arrested on 04/23/2024 in Deltona on unrelated charges and is being held at DJJ. Case status: Active.
