D1 and V1 are married with 3 children in common who are in the process of getting divorced.  V1 returned to the house after a few days away at which time D1 demanded she give him the car keys.  D1 lunged at V1 at which time his daughter (W1) pushed him back to prevent violence.  D1 then struck V1 several times and pulled her hair as evidenced by hair on the ground.  V1 does not want to pursue charges.  A statement was obtained from V1 and W1. D1 was arrested for DV simple battery.  Dir Quann and DCF were notified.  DV, CBA

D1 and V1 are boyfriend/girlfriend and have resided together as a family unit for the past 5 years.  D1 was driving north on CRB when he began hitting V1 who was in the front passenger seat multiple times.  A witness called 911 and recorded video of D1 striking V1 an additional time while driving. Another witness observed D1 headbutt V1 and called 911. The vehicle stopped at the intersection of Enterprise Rd/Harley Strickland Blvd where a third witness observed D1 striking V1 while stopped at the redlight.  The vehicle was located at this intersection and D1 was arrested for DV battery. V1 had redness from the battery but refused medical treatment and did not want to pursue charges.  Case is CBA.

V1 and D1 are roommates who have had an ongoing dispute for several days.  D1 went to the common area couch where V1 was sitting and moved a wheelchair so she could yell at him up close.  D1 then grabbed V1 by his shoulders.  D1 additionally scratched V1 several times and bit him.  V1 had fresh injuries consistent with his version of the incident.  V1 wishes to pursue charges. D1 was arrested for simple battery.

S1 was an employee of the business who resigned effective end of the day on 04/16/2025.  Near the end of S1's final shift, she is captured on video giving 6-7 sets of bedframes to 2 men (totaling approximately 1500 dollars' worth).  The store manager advised S1 did not have permission to sell or give the items away as they are in inventory and there is no paperwork for the transaction.  The 2 men who were given the bedframes were located and interviewed.  They were there to pick up a chair for a friend, when S1 told them the business was throwing them away due to age and scratches so she gave them to them.  Several of the frames are possibly in Debary but others are already in use.  The 2 men will aid in their return.  The manager wants to pursue charges on behalf of the business.  S1 couch hops and left her friends house early today via a rental car headed to North Carolina.  S1 was made aware of the investigation by a coworker and replied to her saying for LEO to come and get me but they will never find me.  S1 did not answer phone calls and was unable to be located.

V-1 was riding on top of S-1's vehicle in the above parking lot when S-1 slammed on the brakes, causing V-1 to fly off and onto the ground. S-1 then drove V-1 to the victim's parents' house. V-1's parents then drove him toward Sanford CFR, where they flagged down a Sanford PD Officer. V-1 was then transported to Arnold Palmer, where he was evaluated, and it was learned that he sustained serious injuries. V-1 is intubated and in stable condition at this time. CID was notified and responded to the scene. The Watch Commander was notified.
