Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association

The Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association provides deputies and staff access to resources like legal representation, insurance coverage and a forum for networking and sharing knowledge with other members. FDSA legal benefits provide protection including coverage for administrative and termination hearings and on-scene representation. The FDSA, a non-profit association established in 2008, provides these resources to more than 8,500 members working for sheriff's offices across Florida. The FDSA also plays an active role in the legislative process in Tallahassee, working alongside the Florida Sheriffs Association and others to develop and advance legislation that enhances public safety and protects the best interests of law enforcement agencies.
