D1 slapped V1 in the face which was witnessed by the hospital staff. V1 and D1 who are husband and wife that reside together with children in common were in a verbal altercation, during which D1 pushed V1 in view of V2 and W1, their children. V2 attempted to intervene and was also pushed by D1 causing her no injury. V1 attempted to distance himself from the argument and D1, exiting the residence with the couple's 2 year old son. D1 followed and pushed V1 several additional times. V1 also did not sustain any injuries and fire/rescue was not summoned to the residence. Based on witness statements, D1 was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

Director Quann and DCF were notified due to the presence of juveniles.

D1 and V1 are father/son who have lived together as a family unit. D1 was acting erratic and V1 confronted him in an attempt to help the situation. D1 proceeded to lunge at V1 causing him to have to defend himself. D1 became more irate and proceeded to punch V1 several times. After the fight, D1 fled the area in his vehicle. Deputies attempted to locate D1 but were unable to locate him. A pass-on affidavit was completed on D1 for Felony Battery (DV) due to him have a prior battery conviction.
