V1 became involved in a verbal dispute with D1, who is her father. During the altercation, D1 armed herself with two forks and threatened to stab V1. V1, who was cutting food with a knife, pointed it toward D1 in an attempt to defend himself. D1 was identified as the primary aggressor and was arrested for Aggravated Assault before being transported to VCBJ.

V1 and S1 are father and daughter who reside together as a family. V1 advised S1 was attempting to take away her cell phone, that she purchased and pays for, and she refused to give it to him. V1 advised she was on the floor with the phone underneath her. S1 was grabbing her arms and legs attempting to pry them apart to retrieve the phone. When S1 was unsuccessful, he grabbed V1 and slammed her to the ground multiple times. V1 advised S1 then picked her up and threw her into her bad causing her to strike her head on the metal frame. V1 had multiple bruises to her arms and legs consistent with being grabbed. The incident was also witnesses by S1's girlfriend W1, who provided a statement. A 707 Pass-on affidavit was completed for Child Abuse because S1 was unable to be located. Director Quann and DCF were both notified of this incident.
