V1 and D1 reside together as a family unit. V1 was in her room with her sister playing on their electronics when D1 came into the room upset that V1 and her sister were up so late. D1 took their tablet and left the room. V1 advised her sister turned the TV on, at which point D1 returned to the room, got on top of her, and started punching V1's face, arms and stomach. D1 admitted to hitting V1 in the face, but denied touching her anywhere else. While evaluating V1, a fresh bruise was observed on V1's on her arm. Deputies determined D1 to be the primary aggressor and was later transported to the VCBJ. Director Quann was notified of the incident and a DV Lethality Assessment was completed.

V1, V2, V3 and D1 have resided together as a family unit in the past. Deputies responded and made contact with D1 who advised she was in a physical altercation with V1 and V2.. D1 took V1's phone from V1's pocket front pocket which leading to a physical altercation between the two when V1 was attempting to retrieve her phone back. V2 intervened to separate them and was struck by D1. V3 attempted to assist and was also struck by D1. Video footage, physical evidence, and sworn statements confirmed D1 as the primary aggressor. Probable cause was established for robbery by sudden snatching and three counts of simple battery. D1 was later arrested and transported to the VCBJ. DV Lethality was completed for all three victims.

V1 and D1 were involved in a verbal argument inside the store, which then continued outside to the parking lot next to their vehicle. D1 was trying to gain entry to the vehicle via the driver's side door at the same time V1. D1 shoulder checked/ pushed V1. This caused V1 to fall to the ground, where he was stuck because of his obesity and an already broken leg. V1's leg was injured during the incident. The entire incident was witnessed by D1's 11-year-old son. D1 was taken into custody without incident on scene.

Aggravated Assault with a Firearm / Aggravated Assault / False Imprisonment

V1 advised on 06/21 at approximately 1730 hours, he picked up W1 from the LOI and stayed out all night and today with her. On today's date at approximately 1450 hours, he dropped W1 at her residence. D1 then arrived and intentionally parked behind V1, preventing him from leaving. D2 then arrived on scene in a separate vehicle. D1 then exited his vehicle and began yelling at V1. D1 then pulled out a metal pole and began hitting V1's vehicle causing numerous dents and damage. D1 then pulled out a black curved pocket-knife and pointed it at V1. D2 then exited her vehicle while holding a pink and purple small handgun. D2 then pointed the handgun at V1 while threating to harm him. O1 then opened V1's door and ordered him to get out. Out of fear, V1 exited the vehicle. S1 then approached V1 and kicked him in his genitals and upper left leg. D1 then moved his vehicle where V1 fled the residence. V1 then notified his parents who contacted law enforcement for assistance. Due to D1 and D2 being the parents of W1 and were arrested; W1 was transported to VFRC pending DCF placement.

D1 then threw a large rock at V1's vehicle front windshield causing it to break. V1 advised it will cost $600 to repair the tire and windshield. V1 requested to pursue criminal charges.

V1 and D1, who are siblings and reside together as a family unit, were in a verbal altercation that turned physical. D1 took a metal spoon and placed it in boiling water, in order for it to becoming hot. D1 then placed the hot spook on the right side of V1's neck, which caused immediate swelling and blistering. V1 was transported from the scene by EVAC to Fish Memorial Hospital due to him suffering a second-degree burn. There were no independent witnesses. D1 was arrested for DV Felony Battery. Case is CBA.

D1 punched V1 in the face multiple times, which caused a small laceration on her upper lip. V1 did not require or request medical treatment. W1 witnessed the incident and separated both siblings. D1 was arrested for DV Simple Battery. Case is CBA.

V1 and D1 have children in common. V1 was visiting his children at the LOI when D1 started getting into a heated argument with a different male over the phone. D1 then started taking her feelings out on V1 verbally at which point V1 started getting ready to leave. D1 went and locked the door trying to prevent V1 from leaving. When V1 went and tried to unlock the door D1 grabbed V1's hand and began getting physical, attempting to restrain V1 from leaving resulting in injuries to V1's face. V1 was eventually able to break away from D1 and left the residence later notifying law enforcement. Deputies were able to make contact with all parties and determined D1 to be the primary aggressor. Deputies determined probable cause existed to charge D1 with false imprisonment and simple battery. D1 was transported to the VCBJ once medically cleared from Halifax in Deltona. A DV Lethality assessment was completed.

V1 and D1 previously resided together as a family unit. V1 and D1 were spending time together with V1's friend when a verbal argument began. V1 asked the friend to wait in the car. After hearing V1 scream, the friend re-entered the residence and saw D1 holding V1 in a headlock and dragging V1. The friend intervened, allowing V1 and the friend to retreat to the vehicle. D1 attempted to prevent V1 from leaving and then became involved in a physical altercation with the friend, causing injuries. The friend declined charges. V1 later confirmed the friend's account and stated she felt unable to leave without help. Deputies identified D1 as the primary aggressor. When deputies attempted to detain D1, D1 initially resisted but later complied. Deputies established probable cause for false imprisonment, simple battery, and resisting without violence. D1 was transported to VCBJ. A DV Lethality Assessment was completed.

V1 knocked on the door and when S1 opened the door she began to strike and push his face leaving an injury. V1 contacted law enforcement and S1 left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. Deputies attempted to locate S1 but were made aware by law enforcement technology she was last seen traveling in Sanford to an unknown address. A Pass Along Affidavit was generated for S1.
