D1, a juvenile, and V1 are related by blood, live together as a family unit and V1 is the current guardian of D1. V1 attempted to give D1 parental discipline when D1 proceeded to grab V1 by the hair.

D1 then proceeded to fight with V1. V1 did not suffer any injuries. D1 was subsequently arrested and charged with battery on a person older than 65 (DV). Director Quann was notified and a copy of the report was sent to DCF.

D1 was approached by W1, who escorted her back into the store and contacted VSO. W1 advised he wished to pursue charges on behalf of V1. It was determined D1 had no prior convictions of theft or FTA, and she was released from the scene with a notice to appear.

V1 and S1 are in a relationship and reside together as a family. Tonight, they were in an altercation that escalated when S1 pulled V1's hair and threw her to the ground.

V1 sustained minor injuries from the altercation. S1 fled the scene prior to deputies' arrival and could not be located. S1 was deemed the primary aggressor.

A 707 charging affidavit was prepared charging S1 with Simple Battery (DV).

The District 4 Crime Suppression Team assisted DDU with locating and arresting a subject of an active investigation.

D4 CST focused efforts on Deltona parks. At Campbell Park, two subjects were observed rolling marijuana cigarettes and arrested. D4 CST observed an occupied vehicle at Lakeshore Park and contacted the occupants. Following their investigation, D4 CST arrested two subjects for narcotics and firearm charges.

Units were dispatched to the above address after a neighbor reported seeing a vehicle pull behind a vacant house and hearing glass break. Deputies arrived on scene and observed a male smoking a cigarette around the rear.

Upon sight of deputies, the male fled on foot and hopped a fence. A perimeter was established and Air One responded. While searching for him, Deputy Nealis observed a male inside. The male attempted to leave out the rear of the residence and was immediately challenged and he complied.

He was taken into custody without incident. Through investigative measures, D2 was identified and located less than a mile away and taken into custody as well. Watch commander was alerted.

Residents near Crawford St. and Pilgrim Ave., Deltona, reported hearing gunshots in the area and observed a black Nissan Altima turn its lights out and leave the scene. As deputies were canvassing the area, a vehicle matching the description drove through and blacked out on deputies as they attempted to stop it.

The vehicle came to a stop and deputies immediately observed a fresh 9mm shell casing on the driver's floorboard. D1 was secured and, post-Miranda, admitted to shooting his gun in the air from his vehicle.
