V1 made some concerning statements to his mother over his maritail issues. A well being check was being conducted when O1 located V1 hanging in the garage. O1 cut him down and yelled for help. LEO was already on scene trying to make contact for WBC and began life saving efforts until medical arrived on scene and took over. V1 was transported to 704 where he was pronounced deceased. On call CID was contacted and responded.

V1 and D1 are married and reside together as a family unit.  A verbal altercation turned somewhat violent when D1 (who was armed with a machete) swung it at V1 in an aggressive manner.  V1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of D1's actions.  D1 was arrested for the applicable offense and taken to VCBJ.
