V1 and V2, a juvenile, were involved in a verbal altercation over a gate between V1 and D1, who is known to V1 and V2. 

D1 dropped his pants and showed his genitalia while saying vulgar innuendos of a sexual nature.  D1 was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.  Director Quann was notified.

V1 also advised that he had left two packages in his mailbox for postal pickup.  V1 thinks someone other than the mail carrier may have taken the packages because the red flag was still up on the mailbox and the packages were gone.

Deputies assisted with traffic control while FHP investigated a traffic homicide at the intersection of Tomoka Farms Rd. / Halifax Drive.

A single vehicle rollover crash occurred with one person being ejected and later found in the retention ditch and pronounced deceased.

This section of Tomoka Farms Rd was shut down for most of the shift. Air One came up and did not locate any other person(s).

V1 and D1 are girlfriend/boyfriend and live together as a family unit.  A verbal altercation turned physical when D1 pushed V1.  D1 was subsequently arrested for the applicable offense. 

While in custody, D1 earned additional charges when he battered an LEO and damaged a VSO patrol car.  Chain of command was notified regarding D1's actions toward the deputies and the damaged property.

VSO assisted in locating a suspect vehicle involved in a vehicle crash (possible THI) that occurred in Daytona Beach jurisdiction. DBPD arrived on scene and attempted to interview O1 in which he refused to answer questions. 

DBPD towed O1's vehicle for their investigation. The watch commander was notified.
