V1 and D1 used to be girlfriend/boyfriend and have lived together as a family unit.  A verbal altercation turned physical when V1 alleges that D1 would not allow her to leave the location for a few hours.

D1 restricted her movement, restricted possession of her personal property she needed to leave, and cut her arm with a knife.  V1 had injuries consistent with her account of events.

D1 was contacted and advised V1's wounds were self-inflicted.  D1 was arrested for all applicable offenses and taken to VCBJ.
