D1 contacted VSO for a one time return to residence in reference to a pre-trial order. D1 called from the driveway of the residence she was prohibited from going to, and was driven there by V1, the protected party. D1 was found to be in violation of the pre-trial order.

S1 made suicidal statements to O1 after taking an overdose of Fentanyl. Deputy King arrived on scene and found S1 unconscious not breathing and administered Narcan to S1. Volusia Fire Services arrived and transported S1 to New Smyrna Hospital. Deputies observed paraphernalia as well as narcotics in the bedroom. Additionally, in the open closet, Deputies observed a shotgun in plain view. Both S1 and O1 are convicted felons. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence, and the firearm was recovered. S1 was placed under arrest at the hospital. ODTF was made aware of the overdose portion of the incident (25-25000).

V1 was alerted to a Ring notification at the front of his residence. V1 observed D1 attempting to open the doors on his vehicles. D1 left on a bicycle. NSBPD, Edgewater PD, along with VSO responded to the area. V1 observed D1 on Ball St., and he took off running. Officers and deputies saturated the area and D1 was observed going over a fence. The residence was surrounded and Edgewater PD K9 persuaded D1 to give up. D1 was then taken into custody without injury.

Deputies responded to the LOI reference the recovery of a stolen vehicle that had been reported to Edgewater PD (EW251200040).  While taking D1 into custody, D1 resisted arrest.  D1 was arrested for all applicable offenses and taken to VCBJ.

T/L- 12/05/2025.  V1, who is 66 years old, has a daughter who is in jail. V1 was contacted (via phone) by an alleged LEO and fell for the bail money scam. V1 sent money (approximately $3,600) via Zelle before realizing the whole thing was a sham.  The perpetrator(s) most likely do not live in Volusia County and legal process will be sent to aid in the investigation.

T/L- 12/08/2025 b/w 1200 and 1230 hours. V1 left her vehicle unlocked in the parking lot of the trailhead and went for a walk with her dog. Upon returning, V1 advised her vehicle dashboard displayed a message saying, “Theft Incident Attempt.” V1 returned to her home in Port Orange and then realized her purse was missing.  Amongst the items which were in the purse was V1's debit card, which was subsequently used at a CVS pharmacy in Deland. Case active.
