Deputies were flagged down by V1 at the location of incident. V1 reported that while traveling on eastbound on LPGA Boulevard towards Derbyshire Road, an unknown female produced a black handgun and pointed it at him. V1 initially stated the female was operating a black Chevrolet passenger car but later changed the description to a black utility vehicle with dark tint. According to V1, the female fled southbound on Derbyshire Road immediately after the incident. V1 described the encounter as unprovoked and denied any involvement in a road rage incident or altercation. A possible vehicle associated with the incident was identified. Deputies contacted O1 at her residence, and a show-up was conducted. V1 identified O1 as the suspect but claimed she had changed clothing. O2 provided an alibi for O1 and claimed she was wearing the same clothing she had left the residence in.  O2's statements contradicted V1's statement. Additional investigative leads were pursued; however, no suspect or suspect vehicle was identified. There are currently no independent witnesses, surveillance footage, or physical evidence. Patrol will continue follow-up efforts regarding this incident.

V1 and D1 were engaged in an ongoing dispute regarding a female acquaintance. During the altercation, D1 struck V1 in the face, resulting in a broken jaw that required surgical intervention. The incident was witnessed by W1. D1 was arrested, charged accordingly, and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.

V1 and D1 are father and daughter who reside together. An argument between V1 and D1 escalated into a physical altercation when D1 grabbed V1 by the face. A pushing match ensued, after which V1 fled to a neighbor's residence to call 911 for assistance. D1 admitted to being the primary aggressor and was subsequently arrested and charged accordingly.
