V1 was contacted by a “toll-free” phone number which displayed as Wells Fargo. An unknown male posed as a Wells Fargo employee, advising V1 his account was not secure and directed him to transfer $10,000 to Apple cash cards, which he did.

Immediately, the card began being used in Fort Lauderdale at an Apple store and he realized he’d been scammed. Case status: Active.

Deputies responded to the above location regarding a stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies located and provided V1 with lifesaving measures for a single stab wound in the upper chest.

W1 reported V1 and D1 were in a verbal argument, which led to D1 stabbing V1. D1 fled the scene, but with the assistance of HHPD, D1 was located within a couple of hours.

D1 was interviewed and confessed. He was later transported to VCBJ without incident.
