T/L- 01/11/2026 @ 1507 hours.  S1 was not happy that the Smoke Shop was not going to issue a refund for a product purchased.  S1 proceeded to lose her temper and throw some sort of remote control at the store clerk (V1).  The remote control hit V1 in the face, resulting in a non-significant injury.  V1 wished to pursue criminal charges so a 707 was completed for the applicable offense.

V1 reported his black 2023 Hawk 250 DX motorcycle (value $2,000.00) stolen from the front yard of the LOI.  The unknown suspect entered V1's property by opening a gate to V1's enclosed property.  A neighborhood canvas was completed. The motorcycle was entered into FCIC / NCIC and a NC4 bulletin was created.  Case Status: Active

V1 went to the LOI to confront D1 in reference to money D1 owned V1.  V1 knocked on D1's door and when D1 opened the door, D1 intentionally shoved V1. V1 suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.  D1 provided video surveillance of the incident which shows him pushing V1. D1 was charged with the enhanced battery charge due to V1 being over the age of 65.

V1 was found deceased by her housemates, O1 and O2, at the LOI.  There were no signs of trauma located, or any narcotics. On call CID responded to assume the investigation.  The COC and Watch Commander were also made aware.

V1 reported he was sitting on his front porch when S1 arrived and started to yell at V1 in reference to an eviction notice S1 left for V1 at the LOI.  The eviction notice was not complete through the courts and V1 had not vacated the LOI. S1 became angry and displayed a firearm. S1 also stated that he would get V1 and said he would be back. The incident was witnessed by W1. Case active.
