Deputy Hansard conducted a patrol in an effort to locate the suspect/vehicle in last night's stabbing incident.

Deputy Hansard located the vehicle in the northeastern most section of the campground. Deputies converged in the park and a plan was executed to attempt contact with D1.

D1 was apprehended without incident for his warrant reference aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. CID was notified and responded to further the investigation.

The suspect vehicle was towed to VSO evidence for execution of a search warrant. D3N COC/Watch commander notified.

V1 and D1 have children in common and reside together.  V1 is pregnant with another one of D1's children.  A verbal altercation turned physical when D1 pushed V1 onto the floor and pushed plastic shelving on her.

D1 was arrested for all applicable offenses and taken to VCBJ.

A verbal altercation between V1 and D1 ensued over a woman, W1.  The altercation turned physical when V1 and D1 began fighting.  The fight went to another level when D1 produced a pocketknife and subsequently stabbed V1 multiple times in the upper torso.

V1 did not sustain any life-threatening injuries; however, he did require medical attention at a local hospital.  D1 and W1 fled the scene prior to LEO's arrival.  On-call CID responded to aid in the investigation and an arrest warrant was obtained for D1.

**UPDATE: On 04/28, D1 and W1 were located at their home and D1 was arrested on the warrant.
