Both parties are inmates at VCBJ.  V1 was asleep in his bunk when D1 began punching V1 in the face.  V1 fell to the floor at which time D1 began to kick V1.

V1 sustained bruising, minor lacerations and a broken nose from the incident. D1 was arrested for the applicable offense and remains at VCBJ.

This incident involves disputing neighbors residing in a trailer park.  V1 stated she was in a verbal altercation with the son of a neighbor.

The son, who has yet to be positively identified, was supposedly on V1's property.  When the son refused to leave V1's yard, V1 pushed him.  The mother (who also has not been positively identified), of the son then came to the son's rescue and punched V1 in the face.

Afterward, the son and the mother left the location in a black vehicle.  V1 wants to press charges, yet she refused to take the time to write a statement and just swore to her testimony on BWC.

V1 was notified of a past-due bill he had paid last month. While researching the lost payment, he discovered a separate check he sent to a business was scanned using a mobile app and the funds were deposited into someone else's account.

V1 recalled placing the checks in his mailbox to pay bills and believes someone stole his mail and altered the check.
