V1 was at his aunt's house watching her children when his bicycle was stolen from under the attached carport by D1, and was captured on video. V1 recognized D1, having seen him panhandling in the area before. Deputies located and made contact with S1 who was wearing the same clothes as in the video, and had the bike nearby, although not in his possession. A showup was conducted where V1 positively identified D1. D1 was arrested for burglary and transported to VCBJ.

V1 and S1 are married, have kids in common, and reside together at the LOI as a family unit.  V1 claimed that S1 was intoxicated and began making verbal threats towards her (V1).  At one point, S1 was in close physical proximity to V1 and lunged at her (putting her in fear).  At no time was S1 armed with any type of weapon, nor did he (S1) touch the victim.  Deputies attempted to contact S1, who was inside of the LOI; however, he refused to come out.  A pass on 707 was completed for the applicable offense (Simple Assault) and V1 went somewhere else for the remainder of the night.
