V1 and D1 are biological sisters who have lived together in the past in the same dwelling as a family unit. V1 decided to engage in sexual activity with D2's adult son which upset D1. D1 confronted V1 which turned into a physical altercation when D1 began aggressively grabbing on V1's person causing visible defensive scratch marks on V1's right arm and neck. D2 felt like she needed in on the action and pulled V1's hair then punched V1 in the left side of her face. V1 had visible injuries consistent with being struck in the face. V1 completed a sworn statement stating she wished to pursue charges on both D1 and D2. V1 was evaluated and treated on scene by Volusia Fire Rescue. Photographs were taken and uploaded to Axon along with all required DV paperwork being completed. D1 and D2 were charged accordingly and transported to the jail. Case Status: CBA.

V1 was struck in the head with a firearm or BB gun by her cousin, S1.  V1 fled the incident location and said "he's gonna kill me", V1 then hid behind a motorcycle at the neighbor's house.  Deputies made contact with V1 who advised there was an argument over narcotics and S1 struck her multiple times in the face with a "gun".  V1 was in obvious fear and advised she believed he was going to kill her. S1 fled the scene in an unknown red pickup truck.  A BOLO was issued for the known suspect with negative results.  A pass on was completed for S1. Case Status: Active

***Stolen Lawn Mower***

V1 observed their sell propelled Troy Built lawn mower, valued at $500.00 underneath their carport on 04/17/2026 at approximately 1900 hours.  V1 observed their lawn mower stolen from out from their carport at approximately 0900 hours.  A neighborhood canvass has yet to reveal any video surveillance footage of the incident. V1 provided the serial number for the mover and a description.  There are no known suspects at this time.  Case Active

V1 is D1 biological mother and live together as a single-family unit.  V1 and D1 were in a verbal argument about cigarettes that turned physical when D1 pushed V1 and punched her in the back of the head.  D1 also admitted to taking V1's cell phone so that she could not call 9-1-1.  D1 provided a full confession to all charges and was charged accordingly.

V1, V2, and V3 were in their vehicle traveling towards Deland to have dinner. D1 passed them at a high rate of speed in his dark colored Ford pickup and unprovokingly gave them the middle finger. V1 and family continued on their way behind D1 who again, unprovokingly, gave them the middle finger. Shortly thereafter, D1 pulled off to the side of the road and pointed an AR style firearm at V1 and family who immediately drove away and contacted LEO. The firearm was observed by both V1 and V2. A check of the LPRs yielded D1's vehicle to be a black Ford pickup (FL tag LSGS36) which passed the LPRs at the same time as V1 and family. D1 was later contacted at his residence and admitted to being involved in the incident but denied pointing a firearm at anyone. Deputies observed at least two firearms in plain view inside the vehicle. D1 refused to provide consent to search the vehicle to collect the firearms. The vehicle was sealed and towed to evidence for a search warrant to later collect the firearms. WC and Director Quann were notified.

During the incident, S1 battered V1 redness to V1's neck. S1 was determined to be the primary aggressor; however, he fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. S1 was unable to be located and a pass-on affidavit was completed. S1 was located and arrested.
