**Petit Theft**

V-1 purchased approximately $117.00 worth of floor tiles from Habitat for Humanity. The business placed the pallet of tiles outside, wrapped it in saran wrap, and labeled it as sold. Later that day, V-1 drove by the business and noticed the saran wrap was cut and some of the tiles were missing. The investigation is still ongoing.

D-1, a juvenile, got upset when her grandparents, V-1 and V-2, wouldn't let her leave in their vehicle. D-1 proceeded to grab the car keys, at which point V-1 and V-2 attempted to retrieve their car keys back from D-1.

D-1 began scratching V-1 and V-2, who sustained minor injuries. Deputies were able to establish probable cause and placed D-1 under arrest.

Director Quann was notified of the incident and DCF was forwarded a copy of the report.

D-1 and his stepdad, V-1, got into a verbal argument that escalated when D-1 grabbed a whiskey bottle and threw it at a wall.

D-1 then approached V-1 in a threatening manner and threatened to kill him. V-1 explained the threat placed him in a well-founded fear.

D-1 admitted to the offense and was placed under arrest.
