V1 contacted the Agricultural Unit in reference to an unknown person cutting his livestock fence which caused several cattle to roam free. V1 has since repaired the fence and wished to pursue charges if the suspect is identified.

The Crime Suppression Team conducted proactive enforcement, resulting in four arrests. One traffic stop yielded more than 40g of fentanyl, a firearm and an illegally possessed “switch” used to convert a semi-automatic firearm into a fully automatic.

D1 entered the Wal-Mart and used the self-checkout line. D1 was observed not scanning several items, totaling more than $100.

D1 was confronted by Loss Prevention and escorted back inside. D1 had a prior conviction for theft which enhanced the penalty. D1 was also trespassed from the Wal-Mart.

V1 and V2 were discussing D1's living arrangements when D1 charged at V1, threatening to kill her.

V2 stepped in and took D1 to the ground in defense of his wife. While she was on the ground, D1 battered V2.

D1 was found to be the primary aggressor and was arrested.

V1 and D1 were in a verbal argument over property in the home. The argument turned physical when D1 grabbed V1 by her arms and shoulders.

V1 had injuries consistent with her allegations. D1 was taken into custody and transported to the VCBJ without bond.

Deputies responded to a dog attack involving an 8-year-old boy. Two dogs escaped their yard nearby and mauled the child who was riding his bicycle near community mailboxes.

Neighbors and the mother were able to fend off the dogs while awaiting EMS and law enforcement. V1 was transported to Advent Hospital DeLand, where he succumbed to his injuries.

ISS was notified and responded to the scene. The dogs were eventually captured and will remain in the custody of Volusia County Animal Control pending a court hearing.

V1 and D1 are sister/brother and had been bickering all morning. D1 became upset and pushed V1 while in her bedroom.

D1 admitted to pushing V1. Video surveillance corroborated the incident. D1 was arrested for simple battery-DV and later transported to the Family Resource Center.

Director Quann and DCF were notified.

D1 and O1 are husband/wife and were in a verbal argument over D1 being in possession of firearms. Eventually, O1 and D1 began a "tug-of-war" struggle over the firearms, which ended when O1 fell to the ground.

While no DV crimes were determined to have occurred, a check of D1's information yielded he was a convicted felon. D1 was arrested for possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

Additionally, an FCIC/NCIC check of the firearms revealed one of them was stolen out of Nye County, Nevada. D1 was also charged with grand theft firearm.
