W1 was at her parent's home wanting to have some time away from D1, the father of her children. D1 became upset with W1 and came to the residence and began an argument. During the argument, D1 pulled out a large silver knife with a bear on the handle and pointed it at V1 causing her to become fearful. D1 was told to leave and as he was doing so, he ran over V1's trash cans and mailbox. D1 left the area towards Orange Camp in his gray 2008 Dodge Ram Pickup (FL tag KX825F) with a female passenger. W1 believes D1 to be intoxicated. S1's vehicle was last seen on LPRs in Holly Hill at 0420 hours. Deputies BOLO'd the area and located S1. Post Miranda, D1 claimed he did not have the knife. D1's vehicle was towed to evidence for ISS to obtain a search warrant to determine if the knife is in it. D1 was arrested for aggravated assault and leaving the scene with property damage.

V1 and D1 are aunt/nephew and reside together as a family. D1 was upset following an argument with his mother, W1, and as V1 was entering the residence, D1 slammed the front door shut hitting V1. The incident was captured on video. D1 was arrested for simple battery-DV. D1 was on felony probation and was charged with the violation. Director Quann and DCF were notified.

V1 and S1 have a child in common and currently have a court ordered coparenting agreement. The court order restricts any communication between V1 and S1 be solely about coparenting and through the agreed upon texting app. S1 sent V1 multiple text messages and phone calls not through the app and the content was not about coparenting. Despite V1 telling S1 to stop contacting her about unapproved things, S1 continued. S1 refused to exit his residence when contacted. An affidavit was completed for S1 for stalking. Scheme to Defrand

V1 reported that after receiving a fraudulent job offer via email from an unknown subject, he was instructed to purchase Apple products using his personal credit card and ship them to provided addresses. V1 completed multiple purchases and shipments; however, reimbursement attempts were declined. Communication with the unknown employer ceased, and he was unable to obtain any reimbursement. V1 advised he sustained an approximate financial loss of $19,000. The case was forwarded to the Financial Crimes Unit for further investigation.

V1 and D1 are married and reside together as a family unit with V2. During an argument while traveling eastbound on I-4, D1 made suicidal statements, attempted to open the passenger door, and grabbed the steering wheel while the vehicle was traveling at highway speeds, causing V1 to fear the vehicle would leave the roadway. V2 was inside the vehicle during the incident. Deputies located D1, and a search of his person revealed suspected fentanyl, which tested presumptive positive. Director Quann and DCF were notified. D1 was arrested and Charged accordingly.

***Harassing Phone Calls***

V1 is a property manager at the DeLand Motel and a former neighbor of S1 up until recently when S1 was evicted from the property. On today's date, V1 began receiving a total of 48 back-to-back calls from blocked numbers in a 40-minute timeframe. V1 stated she was able to answer some of the calls and recognized the voice of the callers to be S1 and S2. V1 instructed S1 and S2 to not call back and advised she did not want further contact. Some of the calls were able to be captured via digital audio recordings which were collected and uploaded as digital evidence. The calls caused V1 substantial emotional distress and served no legitimate purpose. V1 swore to her verbal statement and wished to pursue criminal charges.

***Retail Theft***

On 04/25/2026, an unknown female (S1) entered the business and attempted to distract the cashier by reporting a mess in the restroom. While the cashier went to investigate, S1 attempted to exit the store with four cases of Corona beer without payment valued at $83.03. The Cashier returned and was able to recover three of the four cases. S1 fled the scene with one case in a red Ford SUV. No additional suspect information or leads are available at this time.

V1 and D1 were previously married, share a child in common, and formerly resided together as a family unit. V1 reported that on 04/26/2026, D1 sent messages via a parenting application that a third party would respond to V1's residence to check on their daughter, which was prohibited under his Domestic Violence Injunction. Deputies reviewed the messages and video evidence, which were consistent with V1's statement. The injunction was verified as active and served to D1, prohibiting direct and indirect contact. D1 was located, taken into custody.
