V2 and D1 are sisters who resided together at one point. They were in a verbal altercation, during which D1 attempted to attack V2. V1 stepped in between the two parties and received multiple scratches to both his arms, which did not require medical attention.

V2 advised she was in fear of attack by D1. D1 refuted the account given by V2, stating the altercation was not physical. D1 was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

V1 and D1 live together and have children in common. They were in a verbal argument, which became physical when V1 inadvertently threw a plastic tray which struck D1 on his legs.

V1 immediately apologized as she was attempting to keep their child from falling out of his seat. D1 grabbed V1 and struck her in the face multiple times. V1 fell toward the ground, striking her head on a table and temporarily losing consciousness.

V1 advised she may have scratched D1's face and neck as he leaned over her, but did not know where she made contact with him, as her eyes were closed.

V1 gathered their two children and left the residence, contacting law enforcement via telephone to advise she was fearful of D1 and wanted to distance herself from him. Based on statements and physical evidence observed, D1 was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

DCF and Director Quann were notified due to the presence of children.

S1 returned to the residence on 10/20/24 and was taken into custody reference the pass-along affidavit.

***D/V Pass-Along***

V1 and S1, who are brothers and at one time resided together, were in a verbal argument. V1 then left the residence to distance himself.

S1 followed V1 outside and  swung his fist at V1's face but missed. The two then grappled in the driveway, causing minor injuries to both subjects, which did not require medical attention.

S1 then left the area on foot and could not be located by deputies. A pass-along affidavit was completed.

V1 was walking with his dog near the above address when D1 intentionally drove his vehicle off the roadway, striking both V1 and the small dog. D1 then reversed his vehicle, striking V1 and the dog a second time while both were in a grass-covered area on the side of the road.

D1 then fled the area without rendering aid. V1 provided a name for D1 prior to being transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The dog was taken to an animal clinic to be checked for injuries.

D1 was contacted by deputies and advised post- Miranda that V1 had killed D1’s wife “using electromagnetic waves” and he was protecting his family. D1 was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery and cruelty to animals.
