The Crime Suppression Team conducted proactive enforcement throughout the district, which resulted in five arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine and prescription narcotics.

CST responded to assist with two stolen vehicle BOLOs and a burglary in progress during the shift.

V1 and D1 were in a verbal argument over household chores. As V1 attempted to walk away, D1 grabbed V1 by the hair and struck him on the head.

D1 was charged with DV Battery and transported to the VCBJ without bond.

The Crime Suppression Team investigated several arrest warrants and surveilled a known narcotics house. CST later conducted proactive enforcement throughout the district, which resulted in eight arrests, seizure of methamphetamine and the apprehension of a fleeing vehicle.

V1 was awoken from a nap by D1 playing video games loudly. V1 asked D1 to turn the volume down and a verbal argument ensued.

The argument turned physical when D1 pinned V1 down on the ground. V1 had injuries consistent with her allegations. D1 was charged with DV Simple Battery and transported to the VCBJ with no bond.

D1 intentionally damaged V1's vehicle due to being angry with W1. W1 was driving the vehicle of his sister, V1, with D1 riding as a passenger. 

D1 became upset with W1 about relationship issues as they traveled on the roadway.

W1 stopped the vehicle at the Shell station because he knew surveillance cameras were mounted outside this location.

D1 exited the vehicle and slashed the tires on V1's vehicle.  The incident was captured on the surveillance cameras at the gas station. 

D1 left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival and was unable to be found at that time.

V1, the registered owner of the vehicle, was contacted and wished to pursue criminal charges. A criminal complaint affidavit was completed.

**UPDATE:** On 12/01/24, while conducting a follow-up investigation, deputies located D1 at her residence where she was arrested without incident and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.  Case status: Closed by arrest.
