V-1 and S-1 are boyfriend and girlfriend; however, they do not reside together and never have. While V-1 was showering, S-1 arrived unannounced and entered V-1's residence through an unlocked door without permission.

S-1 began striking V-1 as she was attempting to get dressed. S-1 pushed V-1 down onto the ground, breaking a piece of furniture in the process. V-1 sustained injuries consistent with her statement.

Deputies observed physical evidence on scene to corroborate her statement. S-1 fled the scene prior to law enforcement's arrival.

Attempts to contact S-1 were unsuccessful. A pass-on affidavit was completed and forwarded to the oncoming shift.

V-1 and S-1 got into a verbal argument that turned physical when S-1 jumped on top of V-1 and tried shoving her phone in her mouth.

S-1 then tried to suffocate V-1 with a pillow, preventing her from breathing. S-1 fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

V-1 sustained minor injuries, which were consistent with her statement. All attempts to locate S-1 were unsuccessful. A pass-along affidavit was completed and forwarded to the oncoming shift.

The Crime Suppression Team assisted with an operation simultaneously targeting multiple illegal gambling facilities throughout the county.  CST later responded to a call involving a wanted felon who refused to exit his residence. 

After extensive attempts to negotiate the suspect out, deputies made entry and took him into custody.

Deputies responded to this location to serve an arrest warrant for D1 in reference to VOP for Agg stalking, burglary and witness tampering.

D1 spoke to deputies through the door but refused to come out.  During the dialogue, a loud "bang" was heard inside and deputies retreated to hard cover, began PA announcements and attempted phone calls without success.  After extensive negotiation efforts failed, deputies made entry and D1 was taken into custody.  D1 was also charged with resisting and on-view VOP. Closed by arrest.

The Crime Suppression Team conducted proactive enforcement in the Spring Hill area, making 13 stops resulting in six citations, four arrests and the seizure of narcotics.  All overtime was funded through the FDLE Project Safe Neighborhoods grant program.

The Walmart Loss Prevention officer reported observing D1 concealing bottled beverages in his clothing.  The LPO confronted D1, who was cooperative and remained on scene until deputies arrived.

D1 admitted to the theft of $11.37 worth of items.  Due to prior theft convictions, D1 was arrested for felony petit theft.  Closed by arrest.

V1, who is a juvenile, was fishing with his friends at a home on Valley Dr.

D1 confronted V1 and his friends due to believing the property involved was private property.  The altercation escalated at which point D1 struck V1 in the face.

Deputies observed that V1 had redness to his face consistent with his statement.  D1 admitted to getting into the confrontation and striking V1 in the face. 

D1 was arrested for child abuse. Director Quann and DCF were notified.

FHP was actively pursuing a black Kia passenger car on I-4, which entered DeLand. The vehicle stopped and the driver, D1, bailed at S.R.-44/Wade Ave., and fled on foot.

Deputies, K9, Air One, and DeLand PD responded to the area and created a perimeter to assist with locating D1. After an extensive K9 track, D1 was flushed out, and Deputy Gardner secured him.

Deputy Gardner turned D1 over to FHP, who arrested him for Fleeing and Attempting to Elude and three open warrants.

D1 was observed at the side and rear of the Neighborhood Center City Thrift Store which was closed. The driveway of the store was also chained off preventing the general public from entering. D1 was observed stealing a glass chandelier, trash can, toaster, and several other items from the curtilage of the business. D1 fled the area in a black Ram 1500 pickup truck with bumble bee decals on the side (FL tag BZ11HC). Deputies responded to the RO's address and observed the vehicle driving past. Deputies stopped the vehicle and detained D1. Post Miranda, D1 admitted to stealing the items from the curtilage of the Neighborhood Center City Thrift Store. The items were recovered and returned to the Neighborhood Center City Thrift Store. D1 was arrested for burglary. Alpha Shift will follow up and obtain video surveillance.

D1 stole beer, bacon, charcoal, and several other items from V1 totaling $70.70. D1 mentioned to V1's LPO he would be at Earl Brown Park prior to fleeing on foot with the stolen items. Deputies responded and located D1 at Earl Brown Park with the stolen items. Post Miranda, D1 admitted to stealing the items from V1. D1 was arrested for shoplifting.
