CST responded to the area of S Adelle Ave and W Mathis Ave in Deland due to a large unsanctioned block party that spread across a nearby park and several open lots. Following multiple noise complaints and a disturbance call, CST and Deland PD, with support from neighboring district deputies, dispersed the crowd. The event then moved to Dixie's Gentleman's Club, where it was again broken up after the business was found to be over capacity and violations were occurring in the parking lot. Although no arrests were necessary, three illegally parked vehicles were towed.  All overtime was funded through FDLE's Project Safe Neighborhoods grant program.

On 4/20/26, V1 had started renovations inside his residence due to an upcoming home inspection.  V1 had O1 help him while the renovations were being completed. On 5/8/26, V1 discovered his prescribed sleep medication bottle was missing.  V1 searched the residence and discovered his RING camera, a 3-foot ladder, and a craftsman electric chainsaw was also missing (total value of $280). V1 believes O1 may have stolen his items due to the only person invited inside his residence. Nothing was entered into NCIC/FCIC

V1 and S1 live together as a family unit.  V1 and S1 have been in a verbal altercation since 05/07/2026. V1 told S1 they were done and wanted to end the relationship.  S1 then grabbed V1 by both forearms and placed her arms above her head, pinning her down on the couch and not letting her up.  On 05/08/2026, the altercation continued, and V1 contacted LEO.  S1 left the residence before the deputies arrived. A Pass on affidavit was completed for S1.

S1 came to the residence during the early morning hours on 05/07/2026. S1 told W1 that V1 was allowing her to use his vehicle. S1 and W1 subsequently went to the Daytona area where S1 became upset with W1 and told him to get out of the vehicle. V1 stated he did not give S1 permission to take his vehicle and wanted to pursue charges. The vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen. Case Status: Active

CST located a vehicle stolen from D2 in Port Orange and located the suspect with a pass-on affidavit for the theft at a neighboring residence.  During the arrest of the suspect, narcotics and paraphernalia was observed inside and EVNTF assisted with a search warrant of the residence.  The search yielded methamphetamine, paraphernalia and seven firearms in the possession of a convicted felon.

V1 and D1 were involved in an argument over house chores that turned physical when D1 bit V1 on his arm. D1 was determined to be the primary aggressor. All necessary DV paperwork was completed and photographs were taken. D1 was charged accordingly and transported to jail. Case Status: CBA.

V1 and D1 were involved in an argument that turned physical when D1 threw a wooden drawer at V1 striking her on her right leg. The incident was witnessed by W1 and W2. D1 left the area prior to the deputies' arrival but later voluntarily met with law enforcement. Photographs were collected of V1's injuries. D1 was arrested and transported to jail.
