In order to maintain our commitment to quality law enforcement services and professional performance standards, we encourage citizens to bring forward legitimate grievances regarding misconduct by personnel of the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

All complaints against the department and its personnel will be investigated.

Upon conclusion of the investigation, both the employee and the complainant will be notified in writing of the findings and disposition of the allegations.

Anyone may obtain a Citizen’s Complaint Form by requesting one in person at any of our district offices, or, you may pick up a complaint form from the administration office located on the 4th floor of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Building, 123 W. Indiana Avenue, DeLand, Florida.
