While conducting an Extra Patrol, an abandoned camper (FL tag CCAE13) was located parked in front of O'Reilly Auto Parts in Orange City. A dog was seen through the window, with feces present. Based on those findings, county ACO was contacted to come collect the dog. When deputies opened the door, which was unlocked, V1 was discovered at the entry way and was obviously deceased. No signs of trauma or foul play was observed, however, two empty bottles of sleeping pills were located near V1. On Call CID and ME were notified and responded. NOK was notified by CID.
