V1 made the mistake of leaving his keys inside of his unlocked vehicle (a dark gray BMW) and taking his dog for a walk. V1 returned to the parking lot to discover the BMW missing. While taking the report for the stolen vehicle, LEOs received a call that V1's car had been in a traffic crash.  Deputies responded to the crash site and contacted D1 who stated he (D1) had “teleported into the vehicle.”
