V1 reported an unknown older black male (S1) approached him while in the beach and inquired if he had any drugs. According to V1, a verbal argument ensued at which time the black male sprayed him in the face with what he suspected was peppers spray. During the incident V1 dropped his I-Phone in the sand. V1 noticed his phone was gone and believes S1 took it. Several leads were developed; the case is active to Deputy Vesley for follow up.

T/L- 05/08/2026.  V1, who was out of the country at the time of the event, received a RING notification that D1 (who had absolutely no lawful reason to be at the LOI) was inside of her (V1's) residence.  Further investigation revealed that D1 had entered the LOI and disabled the surveillance camera to avoid any further detection.  LEOs arrived on scene and made announcements for D1 to exit the residence.  D1 came to the front door, threw out a piece of clothing, then retreated inside, refusing to come out.  A VSO K9 deputy sent their partner inside to apprehend D1, and D1 was located in one of the bedrooms.  D1 was taken into custody and arrested for all applicable offenses.
