Video: Missing 6-year-old rescued from pond on Christmas night

HOME SAFE AGAIN! A 6-year-old boy who was rescued from a pond near his Deltona neighborhood last summer was rescued again this Christmas night in another pond nearby.

Coco was cold but unharmed when Air One led deputies to him in chest-deep water off Conyers Court around 6:30 p.m.

Coco has autism, is nonverbal, and is known to be attracted to water. He started swimming lessons after the last incident in August 2024. Deputies spoke with his family about improving precautionary measures on the house and having Coco wear his AngelSense tracker at all times. But most importantly we're just glad he's back home safe.
