NEW SMYRNA BEACH MAN CHARGED WITH 33 COUNTS OF POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

A 20-year-old New Smyrna Beach man has been arrested after a tip regarding possession of child pornography.

Marquel K. Kirk, 20, Lymestone Court, New Smyrna Beach, has been arrested on 33 counts of possession of child pornography following a VSO Child Exploitation Unit investigation of a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

After obtaining a search warrant, detectives discovered explicit videos on Kirk's devices depicting sexual abuse of victims ranging in age from infancy to 10 years old.

Kirk is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail with a total bond of $330,000.
