HOLLY HILL DRUG DEALER ARRESTED; FENTANYL, COCAINE, HEROIN, METH SEIZED

In addition to yesterday’s search warrant and fentanyl seizure in Deltona, detectives on the east side of Volusia County were busy Wednesday seizing trafficking amounts of heroin, fentanyl, meth and cocaine from a Holly Hill business and arresting the dealer.

Frank J. Powers, 47 (DOB 3/20/1976), was arrested Wednesday by members of the East Volusia Narcotics Task Force and Volusia Bureau of Investigation after a months-long investigation by detectives. Upon execution of a search warrant at Powers’ business address (1516 State Ave., Unit G, Holly Hill), detectives recovered the following:

  • 729.5 grams cocaine
  • 276 grams fentanyl
  • 103 grams heroin
  • 112 grams methamphetamine

Other items seized included a handgun, ammunition and $980 cash.

Powers was charged with trafficking in heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, manufacturing cocaine, maintaining/renting a structure for the purpose of drug trafficking, possession of a schedule III substance, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Those charges carry a bond of $2,125,500, and Powers remains in custody today at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
