Fleeing suspect arrested after carjacking, reckless wrong-way speeding

A fleeing suspect who took off from FHP, came into Volusia County on I-95 and later carjacked a woman in Ormond Beach was arrested in New Smyrna Beach after driving recklessly at high speeds and into oncoming traffic.
After the carjacking, LPRs gave real-time updates on the stolen car's route, and units were able to track it down on SR 44.
The suspect, 41-year-old Scott Taylor, crashed into two vehicles near the I-95 overpass and tried to flee again, but was taken into custody instead.
He was transported to the hospital for evaluation and is facing multiple charges from FHP, VSO, New Smyrna Beach PD and Ormond Beach PD, as well as prior charges from Daytona Beach PD:

Fleeing or attempting to elude
Burglary of an occupied vehicle
Battery (2 counts)
