Detectives arrest Palm Coast man, 24, for sex with underage girls; additional victims sought

VSO detectives arrested a 24-year-old Palm Coast man in connection with a case where he had sex with two underage teen girls, and detectives with the Child Exploitation Unit are seeking any potential victims who may have been targeted.

Detectives arrested Nicholas Dean Alo (DOB: 10/05/2001) this afternoon on two counts of lewd and lascivious battery, two counts of child abuse, and violation of probation.

The crimes happened on June 6, 2026, at Central Park in Ormond Beach. Alo picked up the victims, ages 13 and 15, and purchased alcohol for them before having sex with them in his vehicle. One of the victims said she met Alo a few weeks prior at a local hangout spot in Daytona Beach known as the “White Fence” and kept in touch with him via Instagram and Snapchat.

Through their investigation, detectives learned Alo seeks out victims by driving around the east side of the county, specifically frequenting skate parks, the boardwalk, and other public parks.

In 2020, Alo was arrested by the Ormond Beach Police Department and convicted of lewd and lascivious molestation and traveling to seduce a minor for a case involving a 12-year-old. Alo spent two years in prison for the crimes.

Alo is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail without bond and faces an additional charge of escaping after he attempted to run away from detectives while being escorted to a patrol car.
