9 arrested during search warrant at DeLand drug house

Since December, West Volusia Narcotics Task Force detectives have been investigating complaints of narcotics activity at 769 Grant Ave., DeLand. That investigation led to a search warrant this morning, and Lamel Langston was caught tossing trafficking amounts of drugs out of a bedroom window. There were 15 people on the property, including 2 children in a bedroom where more narcotics were found, resulting in child neglect charges.

Recovered were:

20.8 g fentanyl
61.3 g methamphetamine
13 g cocaine
4 g MDMA
Xanax, pills, marijuana
2 firearms + ammunition
Cash + electronic devices
