13 STORES SELL ALCOHOL TO UNDER-21 BUYER DURING UNDERCOVER OPERATION

On Wednesday, deputies conducted an undercover enforcement operation addressing the sale of alcohol to customers under 21.

This follows a similar operation addressing sale of nicotine vape products to underage customers.

Of 26 stores checked on the west side of Volusia County on Wednesday, the under-21 buyer was able to purchase alcohol at 13 of them.

Businesses are reminded to follow the law, check IDs and avoid these violations, which are second-degree misdemeanors.

Orange City Liquors, 1155 S. Volusia Ave., Orange City

Shell, 885 S. Volusia Ave., Orange City

Sunoco, 600 S. Charles R. Beall Blvd., Deltona

Dizzy D’s Bar and Liquor Store, 1200 Deltona Blvd., Deltona

Deltona Express Mart, 1199 E. Normandy Blvd., Deltona
