EDGEWATER MAN ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL BATTERY ON A MINOR

On October 3, 2020 the Port Orange Police Department received notification of allegations Gregory P. Shaw, DOB 10-17-1972, had engaged in unlawful sexual activity with a minor. The reported incidents occurred between approximately 2011 and 2016.

Port Orange Detectives worked the investigation and developed probable cause leading to an arrest warrant being issued for Shaw for Sexually Battery on a Victim under 12 years old. Upon obtaining the arrest warrant, Shaw was located and arrested at his residence with the assistance of the Edgewater Police Department.
