SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN TWO SEPERATE BB&T BANK ROBBERIES

On December 13, 2016 at approximately 3:15 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at the BB&T Bank located at 900 Village Trail. Responding Port Orange Police units observed a vehicle matching the description given by bank employees and conducted a traffic stop near the north city limits on Nova Rd.

During the traffic stop, two occupants were contacted with the driver identified as Michael Allgood (DOB 03/13/1989) and the rear seat passenger was identified as Ian Macbeth (DOB 09/03/1954).

Macbeth was charged with Robbery without a Firearm and Allgood has been charged with Principle to Robbery w/o a Weapon and Possession of a Schedule V Narcotic. Both Macbeth and Allgood were also charged with Robbery and Principle to respectively for the BB&T robbery which occurred in our city on 12/5/16 (case # 16-10677).
