INVESTIGATION CONTINUES INTO MAN’S DEATH AT DAYTONA-AREA MOTEL

The death of a 69-year-old Daytona Beach man whose body was discovered in his Daytona-area motel room Friday morning is being investigated as a homicide.

Marc Pinder (DOB 11/7/1950) was found dead around 11:40 a.m. Friday at the Speedway Motel, formerly known as the Bird’s Nest Motel, at 3753 W. International Speedway Blvd. Pinder was discovered by state Probation and Parole Services officers who had come to conduct a probation check.

Detectives are continuing to conduct interviews as the investigation progresses.
