POLICE INVESTIGATING REPORT OF SHOTS FIRED

Police are investigating reports of shots fired on West Hubbard Avenue.

Officers responded about 12:15 p.m. to the 500 block of West Hubbard Avenue after a Duke Energy employee reported hearing five gunshots. The worker turned around and saw a gun pointed out of a vehicle, described as an older, silver Crown Victoria or Mercury. The vehicle sped off and has not been located.

No one has been reported injured.
