PNC BANK DOWNTOWN ROBBED

The DeLand Police Department is investigating a robbery at PNC Bank, 312 N. Woodland Blvd.

Police were called to the scene around 1 p.m. Monday after bank workers say a male, possibly Hispanic, demanded money. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money.

He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, white shirt and pants.

Volusia Air One was called in to assist in searching for the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available.
