CRIME ANALYST AWARDED THE PRESTIGIOUS E. WAYNE DICKEY AWARD

Director Stephan Dembinsky is proud to announce Daytona Beach Shores Crime Analyst Kelley Register has been awarded the prestigious E. Wayne Dickey Award recognizing her as crime analyst of the year for the state of Florida.  The award was presented by the Florida Intelligence Unit (FIU) at their annual convention.

Kelley is the agency’s first FDLE certified crime analyst.  She has worked for the Department of Public Safety for 24 years and is assigned in the Criminal Investigation Division.

FIU acknowledged Kelley’s work on the 1989 cold case murder of Kimberly Palmer that resulted in the arrest and conviction of Robert Palmer in 2015.
