The Volusia Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce a Academy Recruit & Deputy Career Fair on Jan. 28, 2023.

Candidates will have the opportunity to view our Training Facility and view scheduled demos for our Air One, SWAT, Bomb, and K-9 teams. This unique opportunity will also give you the chance to interview and even receive a conditional offer of employment the same day!

Live demos will begin at 12:00 P.M. in the afternoon.

Physical Agility Test Information

Those interested in starting their career with the Volusia Sheriff’s Office and plan to attend the Career fair may be subject to a PAT (Physical Agility Test) as part of the screening process. Gym clothes with tennis shoes are required for the PAT; there will be locker room facilities available to you on the day of your assessment.
