Two unidentified white males approached a toll booth. One suspect threw a rock through one side of the booth, causing it to exit through the opposite side. The suspect then entered the booth and searched the interior drawers. A nearby hotel security guard, W1, illuminated the suspect with a flashlight, prompting both males to flee on foot westbound on University Boulevard. Nothing appeared to be missing from inside the toll booth. A BOLO was issued to the Daytona Beach Police Department, and deputies conducted an area check with negative results. The Watch Commander and the on-call ISS Sergeant were notified. On-call Crime Scene responded to process the toll booth.

V1 and D1 are brothers who have resided together as a family unit. While playing a game of tackle Frisbee, the activity escalated and became confrontational. V1 separated from D1 and began packing his vehicle. D1 became angry at V1 for ending the game and subsequently attacked him, striking V1 in the face. D1 fled the scene prior to law enforcement's arrival. He was later located by District 4 deputies, taken into custody, and transported to VCBJ for booking on the appropriate charges.
