T/L- 03/16/2026 b/w 0100 and 0800 hours.  V1 advised that an unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered her unlocked vehicle, took two (2) $1 dollar bills and a black bag containing the vehicles registration.  The vehicle registration was later recovered across the street (43 Capistrano Drive) under the front door mat.  Deputies also recovered the black bag the registration had been in.  Of note, apparently 43 Capistrano Drive is an Airbnb whose renter of record allegedly rented it for a bunch of unknown people who had a party.  V1's vehicle was processed and a potential latent print was submitted for analysis.  Also, the recovered vehicle registration was sent for processing.  There is no known video of the actual crime to aid in the investigation.
