Deltona Man Found Deceased In Residential Pool

DELTONA MAN FOUND DECEASED IN RESIDENTIAL POOL

Sad news to report: This weekend, deputies responded to a Deltona home for a report of a drowning in a residential pool.

The deceased, identified as 26-year-old Tyrone L. McQueen Jr., was found unresponsive in the pool late Saturday. A family member and a neighbor discovered him when searching the property (959 Loren Drive) after he hadn't been seen all day.

Responding deputies pulled McQueen from the pool, but he was pronounced deceased at 9:11 p.m. Saturday.

The initial investigation found no indications of foul play, but rather an apparent accidental fall into the pool. The investigation remains active, pending full autopsy results.

The Sheriff's Office sends its condolences to Mr. McQueen's family and friends.
