Update: Victim Identified in Fatal Crash / Head-On Crash Kills 1 in DeBary

The victim has been identified in this Nov. 10 crash as Edward Romaine, 77, of DeBary.

HEAD-ON CRASH KILLS 1 IN DEBARY
Fort Florida Road Closed During Investigation

Sheriff’s traffic homicide investigators are on the scene of a fatal crash tonight that occurred at Fort Florida Road and 15^th Street in DeBary.

Just after 5 p.m., a pickup truck hit a dump truck head-on. The pickup driver, who has not been identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.

Traffic remains closed on Fort Florida Road during the investigation. More information will be released when it becomes available.
