PORT ORANGE MAN ARRESTED FOR VEHICULAR HOMICIDE

On 08/21/20, the Port Orange Police Department Traffic Division served a search warrant on Dustin C. Smith (a 30-year old Port Orange resident) for the following traffic related offenses stemming from a crash that occurred at Madeline Ave. and Nova Rd. on 08/08/20:

• Vehicular Homicide
• DUI Manslaughter
• DUI

Smith was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail with a $102,500.00 bond regarding these charges.
