Three Teens Charged With Aggravated Assault

THREE TEENS CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

On 08/03/20 at 01:27am, officers responded to 412 Leslie Dr. regarding an alleged shooting incident at that location. Upon arrival, the victim advised that three males arrived at the house in a light colored minivan, and after a verbal dispute, several rounds were fired at or near the residence where the victim and his family were located. The vehicle subsequently fled the scene, but was later stopped by the South Daytona Police Department, as the vehicle entered into their city.

All three males were taken into custody, and during subsequent questioning by Port Orange Police detectives, a confession was obtained. The males were later charged and transported to Volusia County Branch Jail. The gun used in the incident was located inside the minivan and additional evidence was collected at the scene.
