Three Arrested In Texas; Charged with Burglary At Global Health and Research Technologies, Inc.

THREE ARRESTED IN TEXAS; CHARGED WITH BURGLARY AT GLOBAL HEALTH AND
RESEARCH TECHNOLOGIES, INC. 

On June 10, 2020 the Port Orange Police Department responded to a business burglary at Global Health and Research Technologies Inc., located at 413 Oak Place Unit 6C. Business owners reported equipment and property valued in excess of $1 million dollars was stolen during the burglary. Members of the Port Orange Police Department Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and began the investigation.

The case was assigned to Detective Ben Benezette, who was assisted by Detective Sergeant Steve Nagy and Detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division. Through testimonial and physical evidence suspects were quickly identified along with information the equipment may be in the process of being relocated to the Southwestern United States. Detectives worked diligently to locate the suspects and the stolen property.

On the morning of June 12, 2020 it was determined suspects and the stolen property may be located in the vicinity of Tyler, Texas. Port Orange Police Detectives coordinated efforts with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Rangers and the Smith County Sheriff’s Office to locate the stolen property and suspects. Through joint efforts the stolen property was recovered and three subjects were taken into custody. The associated charges at this time are as follows:

  • Nathan Silva, DOB: 11-24-91 – charged locally with Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure and Grand Theft in excess of $100,000 (via arrest warrant). Texas charges reference possession of cannabis and possession of an open container.
     
  • Bronwyn Yearwood-Stinchcomb, DOB: 2-20-01 – charged locally with Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure and Grand Theft in excess of $100,000 (via arrest warrant).
     
  • Wendy Silva, DOB: 1-7-71 – Texas charges reference Possession of Stolen Property.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
