PEDESTRIAN STRUCK AND KILLED BY ORANGE CITY POLICE SERGEANT

On Monday June 1, 2020 at approximately 12:45 AM, while responding to a disturbance involving several people, one armed with a stick and another with a shotgun, Orange City Police Sergeant Jordan Herzog was involved in a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the 2400 block of Enterprise Rd. The adult pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene by Orange City Fire Rescue. Sgt. Herzog was not injured in the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and is conducting the motor vehicle crash investigation.
