ONE DIES IN PORT ORANGE TRAILER FIRE

On June 27, 2019 at approximately 2241 hours, Port Orange Fire Rescue and Port Orange Police units responded to a report of a travel trailer fully involved in the Rose Bay Travel Park on Nova Rd. 

Upon Port Orange Fire Rescue extinguishing the fire, a subject was located deceased inside the travel trailer. The State Fire Marshal’s Office was contacted and responded to investigate.

The investigation is ongoing and the subject’s identity is pending notification of next of kin. Please refer further media requests to Port Orange Police Public Information Officer Evan Doyle.
