SPACE COAST CREDIT UNION - WALMART BRANCH ROBBED

49 year old, Antonio D Evans of Bartow Florida has been Charged with Robbery with a Firearm, and is currently incarcerated at Polk County Jail on a no bond status.

Evans was identified by Orange City Detectives as the person responsible for the armed robbery of the Space Coast Credit Union located inside the Wal-Mart at 2400 Veterans Memorial Parkway. A warrant was obtained with a no bond status. With the assistance from the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Evans was arrested at his home in Bartow without incident. He is currently waiting extradition to Volusia County.

01/11/2019 at approx. 4:05 pm a black male suspect approached a bank teller at the Space Coast Credit Union inside the Orange City Wal-Mart located at 2400 Veterans Memorial Parkway, displayed a firearm and demanded money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot to a white car. The suspect is described as a heavy set, middle aged, black male wearing a possible dark blue sweat shirt, gray colored shorts, sunglasses, and light colored “slides” on his feet.
