School Resource Deputies

In partnership with the Volusia County School Board, the School Resource Deputy Program assigns full-time Deputy Sheriffs to work with Volusia County's high schools and middle schools. The School Resource Deputies (SRDs) are responsible for law enforcement, mentoring, classroom teaching, and providing a positive role model for the students.

Deltona High School - District 4: Deputy Mathew Hodges

Pine Ridge High School, Deltona - District 4: Deputy Troy Akeley

University High School, Orange City - District 6: Deputy Luis Garcia
