Video: Intoxicated Shooter Arrested After Bullets Enter Neighbor's Home

When bullets started flying into a home on Evergreen Terrace north of DeLand yesterday, the family took cover and called 911.

Deputies got on scene, evacuated the adults and children from the house, and started searching the area. The shooter turned out to be an intoxicated neighbor on nearby Virginia Avenue who was shooting at a tree in his backyard.

No one was injured. Alex Kudlack, 38 (DOB 12/29/1985), was charged with 1 count of shooting into a dwelling, 1 count using a firearm while under the influence, 2 counts child endangerment, and 1 count criminal mischief.
