DeLand Man, 34, Charged With 50 Counts of Possessing Child Pornography

Christian S. Petri, 34, Oxmoor Dr., DeLand, has been arrested on 50 counts of possessing child pornography following a VSO Child Exploitation Unit investigation of a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. 

After obtaining a search warrant, VSO detectives discovered explicit videos and still images on Petri’s electronic devices which depict sexual abuse of female and male victims ranging in age from 2 to 13 years old. Detectives believe he downloaded the images.

Petri was arrested Thursday on a warrant when he turned himself in at the Volusia County Branch Jail, Daytona Beach. He remains held at the jail pending a first court appearance.
