PORT ORANGE RESIDENT ARRESTED ON TWO COUNTS OF SEXUAL BATTERY

Port Orange Police Detectives arrested an adult male for 2 counts of Sexual Battery upon a person 12 years of age or older, but younger than 18 years of age, by a Person in Familial Custody. 

The name of the defendant is not being released at this time, but he is 40 years old and a resident of Port Orange. 

Detectives, following up on the initial complaint, developed further evidence enabling the arrest to be made.
