POLICE DEPARTMENT MOURNS THE PASSING OF AGENCY K-9 OFFICER

It is with deep sadness that the Port Orange Police Department announces the passing of one of our agency’s canines, Jax, after complications from an illness. Jax served the City of Port Orange and its residents, with his handler Ofc. Richard Clark, from September 20, 2014 until October 15, 2017.

A memorial service for Jax will be held at the Port Orange Police Department on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2pm.
