ONE DIES IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT ON DUNLAWTON

The Port Orange Police are currently investigating a traffic fatality involving a motorcycle and a van at the intersection of SR421 (Dunlawton Ave.) and the I95 Northbound off ramp. The crash occurred at approximately 6:53 PM.  

The motorcycle driver, identified as Warren W. Whitman 2-23-46, was transported to Halifax Hospital where he later expired. Next of kin has been notified. This crash remains under investigation by the Port Orange Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit.
