DELAND POLICE INVESTIGATING OVERNIGHT SHOOTING

DeLand Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured.

DeLand Police responded shortly after 11:20 p.m. Sunday to 706 West Franklin Avenue after a 22-year-old black male was shot. He was transported Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. He has since been released from the hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time.
